Just Me and a Baby

Gem has finally begun to play on her own. She will pretend things and color and, well, just play, it is really nice, she doesn't want me to be with her 24/7, now its more like 20/7, but I will take anything. Anyway I found her (along with Pooh and a monkey) on the porch swing the other day, they were having a really good time until I came along and insisted on taking pictures of them.
Also I thought I would share with you our pumpkin purchases for this year. They look much better now than they will after we are through with them. Gem has aptly given them each a name: dada pumkpumk, momma pumkpumk, and gem pumkpumk. She's not very creative, but then again I guess they do look like a little pumpkin family.

Halloween Costume

As you can see not to many fun things are going on around here, I have resorted to posting Gem in various different outfits. In following with that pattern here is Gem in her Halloween costume.
I promise the posts will be more exciting at the end of this week, since we will be carving pumpkins and going to disneyland this weekend.

The Big Day

Today is the day of the test.

Luckily Tyler didn't have to take anymore books because they wouldn't have fit.

Winter Fashion

Just because winter is coming up
doesn't mean you can't look fabulous!!

As you can see Gem is prepared for the hard southern California winter but she is still looking divine. She has co-ordinated stripes in varying shades of pink not only on the hat and scarf, but also on her shorts. You can see she is going places with her chic pink boots which she got at a great price from "Grandma", the hippest place in town.

Food Crazy

Here in the Ross Household, we do not know a lot about food. In fact we are probably the modern day Jack Sprat and his wife. Tyler will eat anything if it is even remotely edible (and preferably cold). Whereas I on the other hand only eat things if there are less than two ingredients, and one of them is melted cheese or melted butter.

With this as background, we had a guest over at our house and we attempted to feed this said guest some dinner. Tyler wanted to cook a hamburger, so we put two hamburgers in to cook. Since hamburger does not contain either melted cheese or melted butter, I had no part of the hamburgers, nor, to be honest, would it have helped. Tyler put some seasoning on his hamburger, enough so that he thought it would have a little flavor. Apparently it had a little too much flavor. Our guest could not even stomach it, unlike my love, who found it much more fit to consume than many of the things we eat in our home.

Anyway this post is a warning to all near us, to watch out for our food, which may or may not be poisonous to other non-Ross humans.

A Little Witch

As you can see, Halloween is just around the corner in the Ross House.
We have decided to celebrate this quickly approaching holiday, and Tyler being done with his test. By spending the day at Disneyland. YES!! I know you will be on the edge of your seats waiting for our Halloween Disneyland post.
