Just a Day

Levi and June have both been sick this week.  As you can see they have succumbed to their tiredness (I'm pretty sure that isn't a word.)
Here we have Luke and I getting ready to do some vacuuming.  As you can imagine he is a huge help.

Levi got stuck again

Levi managed to get himself stuck in the windowwell.  I left him in there for a while hoping that that would teach him to not get in there anymore.

Luke likes to jump but he's no baby Ella.

Disneyland Trip

We were pretty excited for our trip to Disneyland.  Everything about the first day (travel day) went smoothly.  All the kids were good on the plane and while we got the rental car and drove to our hotel.

Our first day at Disneyland was fun for the kids.  Unfortunately Tyler was sick, and the kids got pooped really fast, so we really only did a half day, but the kids had fun.   June even liked some of the rides that first morning.

June definitely did not want to meet any characters but Gem and Levi enjoyed it.  Everyone also liked walking through Mickey's house.  Levi even found a huge cake to salivate over.

The train was one of the last things on the first day.  Tyler was pretty exhausted and June was done getting on rides of her own free will, pretty much for the rest of the trip.

The second day had some good things, Tyler was a little better but now I was sick.  Gem always wanted to get her picture taken in front of everything.  June would stand there, but definitely would not smile, and we were lucky if Levi was even in the same time zone.

Here we have June being grumpy waiting to see princesses.  We all enjoyed the new princess area.  I would definitely give it two big thumbs up.  We got to see the live Rapunzel show (fun) and then only waited  ten minutes to see all the princess in the Royal Hall.
Levi was awe-stricken by the princesses.  He would walk up to them and just stare at them.  I think it blew his mind.  June of course was uninterested.

He even gave Aurora some of the leaves he had picked up waiting in the line.  The princesses were very nice!  Definitely the highlight of the trip, even while I was sick.

Here is June being grumpy waiting for the Disney Junior Show and that was the end of our time at Disneyland.

June was only happy in the car.  You can see in the picture below how I am torturing her by trying to take her on a boat at Legoland.  Don't worry that was the last ride she went on.

Legoland actually was a pretty awesome park for the little kids.  I wish they hadn't been so tired, and it hadn't been so hot.  But we still managed to have a pretty good day.  Everyone liked the Duplo playground.

Gem and Levi went on the tiny train in the playground.

And of course they spend plenty of time doing the same thing that they do at home (playing with Legos).

We found out that Gem is too short to be a mummy.  Good to know.

Looking back on all these pictures it almost looks like we had a fun time.
I think this area was the favorite at Legoland.  It was a big tent thing that had balls that you could should out of different air guns.  Levi was having such a good I couldn't get him to hold still for a picture.

Even June found a little area to run around.  And she probably ran around it a dozen times, she thought it was pretty neat.

Anyways I definitely enjoyed Legoland and am excited to try it again sometime when it is not 95 degrees boiling the life out of us all.
We did not get any pictures of our travel day home because it was a bit of disaster, I was sick again and June basically screamed the entire plane ride home.  I would call the overall trip a torturous success.  Also a big, big, big thank you to my sister and brother-in-law for watching baby Luke.  Luke also managed to be sick and got them sick and got my dad sick.  So we managed to spread the joy to everyone!

Awesome Cake

Tyler and I made this awesome cake with the help of a master baker.
