More Pictures

I know you are all super bored of pictures of the new baby, but I thought these were pretty funny.  This was after her bath Sunday morning and she is making the "what did I ever do to you?" face.  And you can see her fuzzy brownish reddish hair, before it got all matted down by her hat.

Clarity

Above is an example of her regular grumpy face.  All the wrinkles on her face point down, so I don't think she is actually unhappy :)  Though if someone tried to put that bow hat on me, I would be unhappy.

I did finally snap a picture where she didn't look quite as unhappy.

And finally here she is awake, this morning.  So that would put her at eight and a half days old.  We sure like her and so far she is very mellow. She is also very tolerable of the situation in which she has been placed as the youngest of five.

A Little Clarity

Clarity surprised us by coming early on Saturday.  She was bigger than all the other babies, she was 8 pounds and an ounce.  I don't have too many pictures yet because she has a permanent grumpy face.  But I will work on getting something good to put on here this week.

Sleeping Luke

So another thing that happens when the people you follow around all day go to preschool, is you just sit down in the baby's room while mom is vacuuming and your eyes just get a little heavy.  He has moved into his big bed, so Clarity can use the crib, so his naps have been infrequent and he is just a little bit sleepy all the time.

Halloween

So for Halloween the kids went with a black and white theme.  I didn't realize it until just now when I was looking at these pictures.  Luke was a little cow, and he had a lot of fun wandering around being a cow and accepting candy into his pumpkin.  Levi obviously was Batman, we borrowed the batman costume that stays at Grandma and Grandpa Ross's house.  Since there is such a cool outfit at their house, Levi literally asks me every few hours when we are going to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

June wanted to be Catwoman since Levi was Batman.  Luckily we had this Cat outfit in the totes from when I and my siblings were small.  Thanks mom, for keeping all the costumes!  When Gem looked through the totes she decided she wanted to be a ninja.  I thought that was a great costume because it didn't require any face paint or any weird props.  So hurrah for ninja costumes.  Gem had tons of fun on Halloween being a big kid.  They had a carnival at her school, which she loved.  She said her favorite thing was the Haunted Walk, and then that night she got to go trick or treating with her friends (and a neighbor dad, thanks to him.)

So all in all Halloween was a roaring success around her.  Especially because one of the neighbors gives out cotton candy, and the kids don't know what that is, so I got to eat it all :)
