Our first soccer Game

Gem has been so excited to try out soccer, and it was finally time for her first game.  Tyler and I really like it because her practice is just the first twenty minutes of her game so it doesn't take up two different days.  That is how much we love sports, basically we tolerate them.  Another thing that was good though was that each time only played four kids at a time and the coach was out on the field with them helping them instead of shouting at them from the sidelines.   You can see in the picture that Gem was a little more interested in me taking a picture than getting ready for the other team to kick the ball to them.

Preschool Fieldtrip

Levi's preschool had a fun trip to the treehouse a couple of weeks ago.

To start things off they told the story of "The Little Red Hen", Levi was the cat.  I don't think any of the preschool kids had any idea what was going on.  I am not sure Levi even knew a story was being told.

After that it was play time.  Luke liked the throne.

June loved sitting on the new train.  But as soon as Levi got on the train, he got nervous and said he wanted to get off.

Snakes and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

Neither of my girls has ever climbed on the table, yet it appears to be something that the boys must do.  Just one more piece of evidence that boys and girls are different.
In fact as I was writing that last sentence, I could hear an upset one year old upstairs.  So I went to investigate and sure enough Luke had gotten on the table again and was mad that he couldn't get down.  The table is like the Everest of the kitchen, you just have to climb it because it is there.

Dr. Seuss Day

Gem was supposed to wear her hair like a "who" on Dr. Seuss Day.  I did a pony tail at the top of her head with four braids coming out.  It turned out fun.   Though the pictures don't give you the whole effect.
