Legoland

Our third and final day of the trip was at Legoland.  It was a special Star Wars day there, so that was fun. We were greeted at the gates by tons of characters.  But the only ones that didn't seem too scary were the Storm Troopers.  Who wants to pose with Darth Maul or Emperor Palpatine?

This was a fun day, but we were all a little tired and worn out.  Three days is just a little too long I think for me and the kids.

We were in line to pose by Darth Vadar, and right when we got there they switched him for the Lego Version.  So much better!

Luke was not a happy camper by this point of the day, he didn't even want to go see Emmet.

Though for some reason he apparently really liked the tiny train in the playground.  Though he was crying when I put him on, I guess he liked it once it started moving.

The grand finale of the day was seeing the actual set from the Lego movie.  That was pretty cool.

Disneyland

I don't remember when we went to Disneyland, it feels like forever ago.  But I am pretty sure it has been less than two weeks.  Anyway, we always have to start with the obligatory pictures on the tram.  I will just point out now that Levi thinks it is important to use hand signals when someone takes his picture, so you will find various hand contortions from him in the remainder of the pictures.

Gem got picked to train as a Jedi.  And she even got to fight Darth Vader.  It really was a close one.

Of course, you always have to make a stop off to visit some princesses.  Luckily for us, there are newer cooler princesses that take up most of everyone else's attention.  So the line to meet the regular run of the mill princesses was basically non-existent.

Above the kids are waiting in line for the jungle cruise.  And below June and Gem are getting ready to ride Big Thunder Mountain.  June said she liked it, but I watched her face the whole time.  Her expression from start to finish was sheer terror.

Second day was California Adventure.  I really enjoyed the Cars ride.  It was the first time I had ridden it, and I thought it was really great.
