You gotta do what you gotta do.

Sometimes Batman's cape has to spend a couple hours in the washing machine, and then Batman has to resort to other options.

Park City

We spent Friday night up at the cabin and then we went up to Park City on Saturday to experience the Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster.  Not me, of course, because I am always pregnant.  I look forward to the day when I get to do fun things again.  I took some pictures of the kids while Tyler was buying tickets.  June of course wouldn't smile, but Batman was happy to pose for the camera.

These pictures are really small, but you get the idea.  June rode down with Grandpa and Batman rode down with Daddy.  They both really liked it and they were sad when they didn't get to ride the coaster.

Gem rode down the slide with Grandma and then she had to ride the coaster with Daddy.  I think everyone had a fun time.

Corn Maze

I took the three big kids to a small corn maze a few weeks ago.  They did well taking turns on who got to pick which way to go.  Gem thought she was a big kid and said she knew how to get out but let's just say I would not want her as my personal navigator.

As per usual June wasn't pleased about something and so did not smile for the camera.  (On a side note she has started pulling the "fine, I'm not playing" when things aren't going her way.  I think she has a long grumpy life to look forward to.)
The general consensus among the mazers was that the donut at the end was better than the maze.  And Levi was in tears on the way home because he didn't think we "played", apparently walking around in corn doesn't constitute playing to a four year old.

Luke

What else can you do when everyone is gone and you are just a lone toddler in the home.  Well you can get a Mickey Mouse and settle yourself down on the couch to watch Mickey Mouse.  Luke only says a few monosyllable words.  He says "da", "ma" (which usually means his drink, not mom) "shs" (for shoes or a show depending on the circumstances), "sna" (a snack) and "mou" which is Mickey Mouse.  So to sum up the most important things to a 22 month old are his dad, his drink, his shoes or his shows, snacks, and Mickey Mouse.
