I think this baby girl has a few too many clothes for the first year and a half of her life. The pictures don't do it justice, that is seriously a lot of tiny baby clothes. Also not entirely sure why she has so many shoes when she won't even be able to walk :) Am I a weirdo for not liking to put shoes on babies? I promptly put all the shoes back in a box and put them in the top of the closet, no offense Kayli! That just means whoever gets the girl clothes after me, the shoes will be a little less worn out, so that is good for future cousins.

The Zoo
For some unknown reason our school district did not have school on Wednesday. And Tyler returned from a business trip that morning so we decided Wednesday afternoon would be a good time to use our zoo pass, that we bought in the spring. We were right, the zoo was totally empty, which was really nice. I like the picture below, because we told June to smile, and she got very grumpy and said "I already did". Apparently we only get one shot with her.
Then of course we have the obligatory bird nest picture. We have to take that picture every time we go to the zoo.
Levi kept sitting on things and telling me to take his picture, so I did.
Finally we bought a ten punch pass for the carousel, that way when we use our zoo pass again in the spring they will be able to ride the carousel again. I know I shouldn't feel bad giving money to a zoo, but I still feel like that $15 could have been better spent. Oh well.
The point is we had a nice time at the zoo, and we all got to spend some time together. Also a big thanks to Grandpa Ross for coming along and helping with the kids.

FHE
Well last night we were having Family Home Evening. With so many small people we keep our lessons quite simple. So I opened with what I thought was an easy question.
Me: Levi, who is in our family?
Levi: Give hugs.
Me: Nope, June, who is in our family?
June: Eat Breakfast!
Yah, apparently my opening question was much too difficult for them.
Levi was also in charge of saying the opening prayer. In the last few weeks he has been saying prayers all by himself and he is just beginning to realize that he can say anything he wants. I asked him to bless that we would have a good family home evening. He did that really well, then he blessed Uncle Tyler on his mission. After that he added "please bless that I can play Lego Batman today." Then he ended his prayer, looked at me quite proudly and said "I said that I can play Lego Batman". And what can you say? You say "good job, thanks for saying the prayer."

Luke Time
So what is a little guy to do when the other little kids are at preschool, and mommy is being boring practicing the violin? Well, I guess you just lounge on the bed and play some games on the kindle.
I don't know where he learned to say cheese, but as soon as I brought the camera into the room, he started smiling huge and squinting his eyes and saying "cheese". Which means that we only get to see this funny face and no eyeballs.

Honey
We had two bee hives this year. One is barely scraping by and we did not take any of their honey. But the other hive was on production overload, and this is what we harvested from it. About 100 pounds of honey, or two five gallon buckets mostly full. So far Tyler has really enjoyed having bees and we hope to keep doing it. Hopefully when our kids are older we can let them take care of the bees and then they could sell some honey, that could help them pay for their own missions. That is the far away plan anyway :)

Preschool
Levi and June started preschool this week. They both really like it. Having June go is nice, because now I can actually hear about what they do there.
