Gem was a princess for Halloween this year. When she got out of the bath in the morning I decided she needed some princess hair to go with her princess costume so I did my best, it turned out like a half bun thing with some ribbon out the back. Kind of princessy I guess.
I made Gem's princess costume, unfortunately I made it about a foot too long so I pinned up a lot underneath. But it means it can be worn when she is bigger too. She picked the huge pink rose for the front of the dress, it is way too heavy for the one little clasp I have holding the overskirt together, so that got pinned too, but all in all I think it turned out reasonably well.
