Gem and Grandma Christiansen left yesterday on a plane to grandma's house. Gem was so excited to ride on the plane, and grandma reported that she was very good and stayed in her seatbelt the whole time (though she did spill an entire bag of goldfish).

Obviously she is doing just fine without her parents. My sister Kim sent this picture to me this morning. She said Gem only had to say "Bella come eata carrot" a thousand times for the Bella to finally eat it.

Gem is going to be so sad to come home in a few weeks, after having so much fun out there with her grandmas and grandpas and uncles and aunts. We hope our baby is born so we actually do get to come get her.
Oh Tara, please oh please let that baby come and be healthy so that I can hold him in two weeks!
ReplyDeleteGem didn't spill any goldfish on the plane. She sat very good and even got a little glass of apple juice. She spilt the bag of cookies at our house on Sat.
