Belly Laughs

I didn't think this song was that hilarious, but I guess Levi did. He certainly has a unique personality. These videos are long, so if you get bored after the first one then don't watch the second one, it is more of the same.

In other Levi news, we have decided that we should probably get a baby gate. Even though he moves around at random, it turns out he can randomly fall down the stairs. Don't panic it was just the first five to the landing. Tyler ran to comfort him, but he was already on his hands and knees laughing like it was the most exciting thing to happen to him since birth. We think this possibly might be one of the differences between boys and girls. (Gem cries when you touch her toothbrush).

Valentine's Day

I went against my nature on Monday and semi-celebrated a lesser holiday. And when I say celebrated I mean Tyler bought Gem a balloon and we played with construction paper. It was a riot (I guess). Gem has loved her purple heart balloon which her valentine gave her. She is probably on the verge of naming it; it hasn't left her sight since it was brought home.

Gem used all my sparkly heart stickers, but at least I think she enjoyed it. And afterwards we put up her big valentine on her wall. I guess she made herself a valentine.

Levi didn't seem to mind that he couldn't make any valentines.

Gem's Geneology

Tara and I have been getting into family history a little bit lately. As with all things, Gem would like to assist to the best of her 3 year old ability. This morning we were sorting through things on the familysearch website. Gem was intensely observing. After a minute or two she decided to voice her opinion on a particular matter. She pointed at the screen and declared, "Those the pictures when we go to the bathroom?!"


I could only agree.

Handsome Children

Sunday we finally put Levi in one of his 18-month church outfit, because his 12-month outfit was bursting at the seams. He looked so good we had to get some pictures. Of course Gem wanted in on the action so we got some pictures of her too.

New Talent

Levi is here showing off his new sitting talent. He is a little bottom and tummy heavy, thus rendering him surprisingly stable.
